New scientist highlights energy cost of animal protein substitutes

This is a very interesting article, speaking about a fascinating field of exploration. Animal like proteins cultured in laboratory conditions could well be a long-term solution to feed the human population, however at the current rate of energy consumption it is clearly not viable yet.
